Peer Assisted Learning
The Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) scheme is a student support scheme for all students.
PAL sessions aim is to help students prepare for assignments and exams, in addition to lectures and tutorials. Undergraduate students from second year onward (Peer Mentors) are recruited and trained to assist first year students.
PAL sessions are based on existing course materials e.g. lecture notes, handouts, workbooks, textbooks, etc, and provide the opportunity for students to get to know others in their course and get advice from senior students.
